Ssighborggg Premieres Gold Panda Recover "Time Eater" via XLR8R

Trans-Pacific Synth-laden math rock outfit Ssighborggg is a duo fitting math rock, electronica with live drums, guitar, laptop and keyboards. The band has played as support for Caribou, Gold Panda, The Dodos, Nosaj Thing, No Age, YACHT, Zach Hill(Death Grips) and Xiu Xiu.

Originating from California and now based out of Seoul, South Korea, the group has toured Asia, playing clubs and several festivals. In May 2016 they contributed bonus track to Gold Panda's album Good Luck and Do Your Best, a live cover of the song "Time Eater" played with Youtube start Luna, who plays a tradition Korean gayageum. The duo is known also for other projects such as Maylone’s creation of famed Korean concert collective SuperColorSuper (praised by VICE, NY Times), G’old Korea Vinyl, and Nelson’s session work with K-Pop artists and Korean films.

Now the highly esteemed music blog XLR8R is premiering their amazing Gold Panda Recover "Time Eater."

"The pair puts their full range on display with their cover of Gold Panda's "Time Eater" from his recent Good Luck And Do Your Best LP. With accompaniment by Luna Lee on the gayageum, a traditional Korean stringed instrument, Nelson and Maylone grace the original with an engaging density and rhythmic complexity." - Evan Plake June 22nd 2016
